| Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy |

I am reading this book for the first time. MJ decided I needed a Mother's Day present and sent it to me along with a terribly touching card. So, I want to share my favorite parts as I go along. MJ isn't really an LJ user, and so likely wont see me experiencing the book, but when I am all done- if I keep up with it as I go- I might send the entries off to MJ with some additional commentary.
O has enjoyed most of the part I have read so far as well.
So, thus far- the best part of the book is Douglas' Adams Guide to the Guide: How to leave the Planet.

Last night I turned my phone off. I was fed up with everyone. Stu called twice while it was off. He didn't try the other phone, which I obviously would have answered nor did he try to email. BBG tried once, then emailed twice. I hate the world. Today is my day off, and I just got out of bed half an hour ago. I am going to get a new phone, and then lunch.
I think BBG wants to go out. I need to talk to stu. I think I am going to go though. |
